Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in software engineering, demonstrating expert-level understanding of software engineering skills with Java, C#, or other relevant languages. A Certified Ethical Hacker certification is a plus.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for proactively building systems to identify and mitigate product security issues, working with the overall product team to detect potential issues in production. This includes developing and maintaining custom scripts and tools, analyzing security data, collaborating with other security professionals and product teams, creating and maintaining detection rules, monitoring security alerts, and participating in incident response. They will also advise product teams on best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of threat hunting and detection methodologies.
