Requirements

5+ years of Software Engineering experience
BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
Strong proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques
Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling principles
Strong knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems
Strong proficiency in Java SE and Java EE, including object-oriented programming principles
Expertise in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications using Spring Boot framework
Ability to build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using Redux, or similar libraries
Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools for automated builds and deployments
Knowledge of caching strategies and tools like Redis
Experience with containerizing applications (ex: Docker) and managing (ex: Kubernetes) their deployment and scaling in distributed environments
Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD, testing, and security best practices
Strong research skills
Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving
Highly skilled full-stack experience with expertise in frontend frameworks like React or Angular, backend technologies such as Spring Boot and Java
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployment

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, architects and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components
Complete complex bug fixes
Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior team members
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments
Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
Resolve complex technical issues as necessary
Train entry-level software engineers as directed by department management, ensuring they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their roles
Keep abreast of new technology developments
Design and work with complex data models
