Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of relevant software engineering experience (backend, full-stack, or systems)
Proficiency in Golang, Typescript, and React
Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (ideally AWS) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Proven ability to make well-reasoned design and development trade-offs within your domain and provide high-level guidance to others
Experience collaborating with Product Management and cross-functional teams to scope and deliver long-term plans
Strong sense of code ownership and technical stewardship, with an emphasis on clarity, maintainability, and performance
Operates with a comprehensive understanding of domain boundaries and stakeholder goals, enabling forward-thinking

Responsibilities

Contribute to both the technical and product roadmap, providing input and effort estimates during initiative discovery and execution
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business needs into elegant, effective technical solutions
Anticipate and resolve challenges before they become blockers — identify potential failure points, plan solutions, and weigh trade-offs thoughtfully
Mentor and support teammates, sharing knowledge through pair programming, code reviews, and technical discussions
Work across a wide range of technical areas— from streaming and microservices to A/B testing, data modeling, and internal tooling
Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code that drives measurable impact
