Requirements

Strong technical background and experience building production web applications
Strong experience as a full stack or backend developer with Ruby (Rails experience is a bonus)
Understand how to write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries (PostgreSQL is a plus)
Customer-focused, with attention to detail and value for quality
Experience building Ruby on Rails applications and APIs

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to provide elegant solutions to Wrapbook customer problems
Lead and decompose complex, ambiguous projects into actionable technical tasks
Take ownership of feature delivery from concept to production
Write performant, scalable, and secure backend code in Ruby on Rails
Design and optimize data models and SQL queries (PostgreSQL)
Participate in code reviews, mentor and learn from fellow engineers, and help raise the technical bar
Ensure code is well-tested and well-architected
Actively improve our tools, processes, and best practices
