Senior Software Engineer I - Reach 360

Position Overview

Articulate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join our Reach 360 team. In this role, you will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers to build industry-leading products and tackle complex challenges. You will be responsible for significant tasks and work with teammates to develop effective solutions.

What You'll Do

• Build new features and enhance existing ones with a focus on quality.
• Prioritize customer needs and iterate quickly to deliver value.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product leaders.
• Mentor software engineers and provide constructive code reviews.
• Participate in defining application architecture.
• Anchor the team’s on-call rotation, assisting and guiding others during incidents.
• Contribute to a growing remote-first company with a world-class culture.
• Effectively manage your time to focus on quality results.

What You Should Have

• A proven track record of implementing, shipping, and maintaining production software.
• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering environment.
• A history of collaborative, team-based work.
• A history of technical leadership.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to write clear, testable, and maintainable JavaScript.
• Expertise with frontend technologies: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, S(CSS).
• Expertise with backend technologies: Node.js, Postgres, Docker.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining services on AWS.
• Strong familiarity with Git/Github.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $137,700 - $206,500 per year (for all US locations).
  • This range reflects our good-faith belief in appropriate compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary and is subject to future adjustments.
  • Compensation decisions consider factors such as skill sets, experience, training, qualifications, education, and business needs.
• This position is bonus-eligible.
