Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer from a high-growth company, demonstrating a strong understanding of web technologies such as React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and Vercel. They should be comfortable with rapid A/B testing of product flows and possess a general understanding of experimentation methodologies and tools. Additionally, candidates should be able to write maintainable and high-quality code, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React, with an eye for good design and UX, and possess empathy and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer, Growth will help build product experiments from ideation to production, improve user experiences across various product surfaces in collaboration with multiple teams and functions, and work across the stack – from building polished user interfaces with React to setting up API endpoints and writing queries to analyze experiment results. They will also make data-informed decisions based on user research, experimentation, and rapid iterations, and work with a wide range of technologies and platforms, including Rudderstack, Amplitude, GrowthBook, BigQuery, and GCP.
