You will perform intermediate level software testing tasks including test planning, scheduling, and execution. You will be an important player in subsystem design, implementation, and testing. You will play an active role in all the stages of the development lifecycle and support your team throughout the process. You will also help ensure that developed products meet requirements and are within total quality management standards. You will collaborate with multiple global teams and may also require you to be the technical lead of a small-scale feature or portion of a feature.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and Document Requirements: Gather, contribute to, and document requirements for a feature and its components, ensuring the information required to develop software and corresponding test cases are contained in the specifications.
  • Develop Subsystem Designs: Develop new subsystem designs or help existing ones, ensuring they meet established requirements.
  • Establish Timelines and Resources: Establish a timeline and determine the resources needed to execute a design, considering tradeoffs between requirements, speed, cost, and reliability.
  • Provide Progress Reports: Regularly provide progress reports.
  • Implement and Document Code: Implement and document code that meets the requirements of the software design, developing experience writing clean, concise code with comments and unit test plans.
  • Analyze Anomalies: Reports, analyzes anomalies, determines the origin and cause of anomalies identified.
  • Lead Integration: Take the lead in the integration of other components by solving problems within subsystems to produce a final product.
  • Conduct Reviews: Lead reviews of documents, designs, code, test cases, and user documentation.
  • Maintain Subsystems: Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of one or more software subsystems.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Build relationships and work with peers to ensure assigned tasks are prioritized.
