Requirements

Candidates should possess 6-10 years of post-bachelor’s degree experience as a software engineer, demonstrating competency in verbal and written communication, and mastery of computer science fundamentals including security best practices. They should have experience building and maintaining software products in JavaScript or TypeScript, integrating with REST APIs, and be willing to continue learning and re-learning new technologies and methods. Comfort with critical thinking and creative problem-solving is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Software Engineer, responsibilities include driving technical excellence as the team’s subject matter expert, collaborating daily with teammates to enable progress toward team goals, architecting and building frontend utilities using JavaScript and/or TypeScript, architecting and building Jenkins build pipelines and other CI/CD processes, securely integrating client-side utilities with REST APIs, working with Product Owners and Product Managers to understand customer problems and build solutions, automating test cases and installation packages, writing user-friendly documentation and technical documents, participating in scrum ceremonies, driving team performance, conducting code reviews, and identifying areas for improvement while contributing to faster and more efficient delivery of value to end users.
