Requirements

  • Senior Software Engineer level expertise in frontend development
  • Experience with monorepos (~40 packages), Turborepo, and pnpm workspaces
  • Proficiency in React 18 + TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Vite for builds (including transitions from Webpack)
  • Knowledge of TanStack ecosystem (Router, Query)
  • Experience with GraphQL (primary) and REST APIs
  • Expertise in state management: Zustand and XState
  • Proficiency in styling: styled-components, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn
  • Experience with design systems and internal component libraries
  • Testing experience with Vitest
  • Ability to evaluate/implement architectural patterns: Module Federation, advanced package isolation, plugin architectures
  • Thrives in fast-paced, team-driven environment with customer obsession, continuous learning, open collaboration, ownership, and quick decisions
  • Location: Remote from France

Responsibilities

  • Evolve frontend architecture from centralized monorepo to a true platform enabling autonomous contributions from distinct feature teams without bottlenecks or conflicts
  • Evaluate and implement architectural patterns (Module Federation, advanced package isolation, plugin architectures) to solve scaling challenges while maintaining monorepo benefits
  • Build the "paved road": create tooling, contracts, and isolation layers allowing feature teams to ship value without breaking the host application
  • Establish clear boundaries and APIs between platform and features, preventing cascading regressions from shared package changes
  • Drive consistency across frontend stack: standardize patterns for routing, data fetching, state management, and styling while allowing flexibility
  • Define and enforce coding standards, performance budgets, and architectural guidelines across the frontend guild
  • Mentor engineers across the organization and align stakeholders on technical vision
  • Drive projects increasing platform resilience and scalability
  • Act as enabler for the entire engineering organization, setting standards for frontend code writing, sharing, and deployment
