Requirements

  • Highly skilled and experienced in Linux kernel development and device drivers, including multimedia subsystems and networking (WLAN, LAN, BLE, BT5.0)
  • Expertise in system bring-up activities, including bootloader configuration, board support package (BSP) development, and low-level debugging
  • Proficiency in integrating and optimizing hardware components such as USB, PCIe, I2C-connected peripherals, and Ethernet interfaces
  • Experience in developing diagnostics and health monitoring solutions for system reliability, predictive maintenance, and fault detection
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot low-level system issues, particularly in high-speed data buses and network connectivity
  • Knowledge of supporting manufacturing and production processes, including hardware validation, firmware flashing, and end-of-line testing
  • Capability to work closely with hardware teams for validation and debugging of platform issues
  • Experience defining Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and improving software stability, performance, and maintainability
  • Willingness to work hybrid in Austin, TX, reporting to the office three times per week at minimum
