Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing software for large customer-facing and internal end-user Web applications using Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS cloud technologies
  • Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing software for large customer-facing and internal end-user Web applications using Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS cloud technologies
  • Demonstrated Expertise designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software applications using modern languages and frameworks (Java, Spring Boot, and Angular)
  • Demonstrated Expertise designing and developing efficient and scalable cloud-native applications written on AWS platforms, using Amazon Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3)
  • Demonstrated Expertise building and deploying REST Web services in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
  • Demonstrated Expertise triaging bugs on software applications using Datadog and Splunk; and developing applications by writing or contributing to technical specification documentation
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and services for server-side applications using Spring Boot
  • Experience designing and developing reusable client-side components using Angular 17 and JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience developing applications and system components in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, using AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda, EMR, and Cloud Formation
  • Experience developing container-based systems by implementing and maintaining orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, and ECS)

  • Develops container-based systems by implementing and maintaining orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, and ECS)
  • Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications
  • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts
  • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms
  • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives
  • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation
  • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing
  • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives
  • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems
  • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope
