Senior Software Engineer - Conversation Intelligence

Location Type: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

Replicant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team developing the Conversation Intelligence product. This role involves building new features, refactoring code, debugging, and supporting a production environment. Our technology stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Python on Kubernetes within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Build new features for Replicant’s Conversation Intelligence product.
  • Refactor, optimize, and debug existing code.
  • Provide code reviews and lead technical projects.
  • Participate in regular on-call rotations, including monitoring metrics, triaging alerts, and responding to issues.
  • Utilize metrics and team experience to drive development decisions.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage and prioritize work using an agile process.
  • Share technical knowledge and passion for learning with team members and peers.
  • Identify and drive the adoption of best practices and design patterns within the team.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience building customer-facing user interfaces.
  • Experience working in live production environments.
  • Proven experience leading technical projects.
  • Desire to learn and work across the team’s entire tech stack.
  • Experience writing production TypeScript.
  • Experience working with the React framework.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining customer-facing product features.

Desired Skills (Plus, Not Required)

  • Experience with LLM prompt tuning.
  • Experience writing production Python.
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Services.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes.
