The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for owning and delivering quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems, and ensuring team support during delivery. They will collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to support product development, participate in ideation, articulate technical constraints, and partner on decisions considering risks and trade-offs. Proactively identifying and solving project, process, technology, or business issues is a key responsibility. Supporting the operations and availability of team artifacts through metrics monitoring, escalation, and on-call efforts is also expected. Fostering a culture of quality and ownership by setting or improving code review and design standards, and advocating for them beyond the team, is crucial. Additionally, the engineer will help develop talent on the team by providing feedback, guidance, and leading by example.
