Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering enterprise-scale software products, with an emphasis on integrating machine learning models and Databricks workflows, is required. Proven ability to lead engineering projects, mentor junior developers, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential. Advanced proficiency in front-end development (React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS) and back-end development (Node.js, Python, or Java) is necessary. A deep understanding of hybrid-cloud and cloud-native software architecture, system design, and security, including microservices and containerization using Azure services or similar cloud platforms, is required. Experience with CI/CD processes, collecting and communicating engineering quality metrics, and working with Agile methodologies is also needed. Familiarity with data science use cases, machine learning lifecycles, Databricks Delta Lake, Mlflow, Unity Catalog, and visualization tools like Power BI or D3.js is preferred.
The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and partner teams to design, develop, and implement analytics applications that improve customer experience and business outcomes. This role involves leading front-end and back-end software architecture, design, and development, ensuring alignment with company technology and security standards. Responsibilities include implementing software validation, testing, code review, documentation, and production monitoring processes. The engineer will also work with infrastructure, architecture, and operations teams on platform management and technology migrations, provide on-call support as needed, and stay updated on new trends and technologies, including GenAI, to increase productivity. Additionally, the role involves encouraging continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team and the broader software engineering community.
