Requirements

Candidates should have a quantitative academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics. Strong knowledge of algorithm design, data structures, and optimizing large-scale distributed data processing systems like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Dask, and distributed graph databases is required. Experience converting academic research into products, strong programming skills in Python and SQL, and knowledge of basic graph theory concepts are essential. Excellent communication skills for explaining complex topics to diverse audiences, a delivery-oriented mindset, autonomy, and the ability to lead and execute features from start to finish are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will build scalable graph systems to analyze large cryptocurrency transaction networks at multi-blockchain scale. Responsibilities include designing and implementing graph algorithms, researching new graph-native technology, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and cryptocurrency investigators to define requirements for new features.
