Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related discipline & 2+ years of work experience (combination of education and work experience acceptable for Ph.D./Doctorate candidates)
  • Knowledge in C++ and Object-Oriented programming
  • Proficiency in C++ (strongly preferred)
  • Experience in Qt/QML framework, Linux, or Docker (preferred)
  • Experience in full SDLC and Agile software development with tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, unit testing, code coverage, CI/CD, security, and task/defect/requirement management (preferred)
  • Knowledge of linear algebra, computational geometry, computer graphics, and software architecture design (e.g., design patterns and software modeling) (preferred)
  • Experience in medical imaging, image processing, computer vision, algorithm development, computer-assisted surgery, or robotics (preferred)
  • Experience with biomedical software development or software development in a regulated environment (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software components per defined requirements and architecture, following design principles and coding standards
  • Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Project Management to ensure project success as a key member of the team
  • Independently create or refine software engineering documentation following R&D procedure per the Quality Management System
  • Follow defined SDLC procedures and guidelines to ensure software quality through code review, unit and component tests, code analysis, and defect management
  • Work on complex problems and demonstrate ownership. Prioritize work with minimal supervision
