Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8+ years of software development experience, preferably in a technical leadership role
  • Exceptional programming skills, encompassing Java, Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful services
  • Experience with public cloud services, preferably AWS
  • Full stack (backend, frontend, operations) experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across functional lines, and cross geo teams
  • Healthcare Interoperability experience (HL7, FHIR) is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software systems in the area of ownership and ensure that they meet business objectives
  • Ensure deliverables meet the functional and non-functional criteria, and drive changes proactively where outcomes are misaligned
  • Align development efforts with business objectives by collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross-functional team members across geos
  • Identify and implement best practices for efficient operational processes or technical solutions that elevate the team's performance
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by guiding other engineers through design, code, and operational reviews
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers
