Requirements

  • Experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Android development
  • Strong understanding of Android internals and ability to debug/diagnose Android device issues

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the DE&ET software stack and specifically the MediaX component
  • Maintain and update the Android variant of the Disney Media Player
  • Assist with critical components including release process, remote configuration management, and live production issues
  • Collaborate with application development teams, services engineering teams, and product management to understand and explain device limitations
