Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science
  • 4-7 years of experience
  • Experience with Kotlin & Java with a solid understanding of Android SDK
  • Experience with React Native and hybrid app development
  • Experience with UI/UX design
  • Experience with third-party libraries, SDKs, and APIs
  • Understanding of mobile security and performance optimization
  • Experience with consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and MVVM/MVC frameworks
  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Cognito, SNS, API Gateway)
  • Knowledge of Jetpack Compose
  • Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
  • Knowledge of Unit testing and UI testing frameworks with strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Regulatory and compliance standards similar to IEC62304, HIPAA Data Privacy, FIPS

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java
  • Maintain cross-platform apps using React Native, working with third-party libraries, SDKs, and APIs
  • Implement and maintain AWS cloud services and solutions for mobile apps
  • Optimize applications for performance, quality, and responsiveness
  • Translate requirements into design and implementation
  • Understand Software and System requirements
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team meetings
  • Design, develop, and document solutions on Android
  • Create UI/UX design elements to implement functional and appealing user interfaces
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
  • Work with multi-disciplinary team and global R&D group including System Engineers, developers, and global peers to create design strategy
