Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong coding, debugging, and engineering skills in modern C++/Python are essential, along with good familiarity with GPU programming, performance benchmarking, and optimization for deploying ML systems on edge or cloud systems. Experience in software development, architecture design and implementation, leading ML system design and infrastructure (including data pipelines, ML model training, evaluation, and deployment), and testing/launching large-scale software products is required. Bonus points for experience with state-of-the-art deep learning and computer vision models and diverse hardware sensing technologies.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions. Responsibilities include building robust and scalable data collection infrastructure, designing and building ML evaluation frameworks, deploying and optimizing ML models for production, conducting evaluation experiments, and analyzing results to suggest modeling improvements. The engineer will also analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, lead complex technical or product efforts, provide technical guidance to peers, architect efficient and scalable ML systems, identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, and collaborate with Product Management, UX, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into user-centric solutions.
