Requirements

Candidates must hold a TS/SCI with Full polygraph, possessing 12 years of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 4 additional years in place of a Bachelor’s degree, and demonstrating proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC/REST, Spring Security, and Spring Data. Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, Dgraph, MongoDB, and Redis is required, along with familiarity with Git for version control and Maven for build automation, and comfort working in a Linux development environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will take ownership of complex features and contribute to the design and development of a high-impact, full-stack software platform, architecting scalable and maintainable solutions using modern development patterns. They will build and enhance backend capabilities, including data ingest pipelines and scalable RESTful APIs, potentially collaborating on frontend components. The role involves collaborating with analysts, product owners, and fellow engineers to ensure solutions meet operational needs, promoting code quality, mentoring teammates, and sharing best practices. Additionally, the engineer will help identify and implement process improvements to support faster delivery of new data sources and overall team efficiency.
