Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build backends for mobile and web applications, delivering high-quality code through code reviews and testing. They will serve as a technical leader and mentor to junior engineers, dedicating 80-90% of their time to hands-on coding and solving complex programming and design problems. The role involves leveraging AI tools, leading large projects by anticipating infrastructure needs, proposing AI solutions, and integrating AI into existing systems with guidance from AI experts. The engineer will influence project direction, adopt new technologies, and participate in an on-call rotation to address production reliability issues.
