Requirements

6-10 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Java, Micro-services and advanced knowledge of devops tools such as Jenkins
Good understanding of messaging domain with advanced knowledge of Kafka and knowledge of streaming technologies
Proven record of adhering to the tenets of Operational excellence with ability to manage large fleet of clusters
Preferred: Developing automation workflows with AI engineering frameworks like LangChain, vector databases, MCPs and large language models (LLMs) that enables seamless orchestration of complex operational tasks

Responsibilities

Own, Design and Deliver production-grade software to manage large fleet of Kafka clusters using Java /Python or similar languages, adhering to best practices in code quality, performance, and maintainability
Own feature design, production readiness for automations that can be used to manage operations on clusters via single click self-serve
Owns and delivers new features for assigned business critical themes, from high level design through deployment and ongoing support
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to contribute to technical decisions
Mentor engineers by conducting code, design reviews, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Support customer application teams and partner platform teams during incident resolution, demonstrating high customer empathy and a commitment to operational excellence
