Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 6 years of full-stack development experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with a solid understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization. Experience with modern UI frameworks like Angular or React, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns is required. A passion for JavaScript and building reusable, component-driven architectures is essential, as is experience leveraging or integrating AI/ML models, such as LLMs, into work processes. Strong design, collaboration, and communication skills are necessary. The role requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Santa Clara headquarters and necessitates passing a background screening, including a credit check, criminal check, and drug test. Only US citizens, naturalized citizens, or permanent residents with a green card will be considered.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and deploy software for a new AI-driven product, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and AI researchers to translate concepts into scalable systems. Responsibilities include integrating AI/ML models into a user-facing product, building high-quality, clean, and reusable UI code by enforcing best practices like code reviews and unit testing, and owning code from design through delivery. The engineer will also work with product owners to understand requirements, design user-friendly software that allows for customer customization, and contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features. Additionally, they will mentor colleagues, promote knowledge-sharing, and focus on creating reusable and modular frontend components.
