Requirements

The Senior Software Engineer requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in server-side, backend programming with Python and associated frameworks, a good understanding of Web Services (REST), Micro-Services, and SaaS Development. Experience designing solutions using cloud-native technologies from AWS, including using microservices in a multi-tenant SaaS application, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases (EKS, Kafka, Redis), and logging/monitoring tools like Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana is essential. Experience working with remote teams (US time zones), automation frameworks, and Amazon AWS (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch) is also desired, along with knowledge of Docker and containerization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills are required, alongside good communication and organizational skills. Experience with JIRA for Agile Development, Defect Management, and Test Case Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design and deliver efficient, performant, and maintainable Python-based SDKs and Frameworks, collaborating with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing. They will participate in team grooming and planning activities, produce unit and end-to-end tests, and be responsible for code quality through testing. The role involves working with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver product demos and resolve queries, creating new environments as needed. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to training new resources and ensuring code quality by performing unit, integration, and development testing, while also contributing to resolving customer queries and escalations.
