The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple events and deadlines, experience in B2B promotion and audience development targeting executives and industry leaders, and a proactive, collaborative, and flexible approach suitable for a fast-paced environment. Candidates located on the East Coast are strongly preferred, and the role is remote within the United States.
The Senior Social Media Associate will develop and execute social media strategies to promote Newsweek's global events portfolio, drive audience engagement, and showcase thought leadership platforms. This includes managing content creation, scheduling, and live coverage across multiple platforms such as LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and Threads, ensuring events are amplified before, during, and after they occur. Responsibilities also involve creating engaging content, providing live event coverage, tracking and analyzing performance metrics, staying updated on social media trends, and collaborating with Events, Marketing, and Editorial teams to align messaging and maximize impact.
