Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of relevant experience working in software engineering and simulation
- Excellent C and C++ programming skills
- Experience designing, developing, and debugging complex systems
- Solid understanding of QNX, Linux and real-time operating systems
- Solid understanding of simulation concepts & strong foundation in mathematics
- Experience working on a large scale simulation system (open and closed loop) for an AV stack
- Ability to self-manage and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across platform software, infrastructure, and ADAS algorithm teams to translate replay and simulation requirements into replay/simulation framework architecture and design
- Drive technical solutions for new concepts related to replay/simulation framework and infrastructure
- Design, document and optimize software architectures and frameworks for real-world performance while matching or exceeding customer requirements
- Engage in exciting, fun and challenging work involving a plethora of unsolved problems
