Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience working in software engineering and simulation
  • Excellent C and C++ programming skills
  • Experience designing, developing, and debugging complex systems
  • Solid understanding of QNX, Linux and real-time operating systems
  • Solid understanding of simulation concepts & strong foundation in mathematics
  • Experience working on a large scale simulation system (open and closed loop) for an AV stack
  • Ability to self-manage and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across platform software, infrastructure, and ADAS algorithm teams to translate replay and simulation requirements into replay/simulation framework architecture and design
  • Drive technical solutions for new concepts related to replay/simulation framework and infrastructure
  • Design, document and optimize software architectures and frameworks for real-world performance while matching or exceeding customer requirements
  • Engage in exciting, fun and challenging work involving a plethora of unsolved problems
