Internship
Candidates should possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on penetration testing and application security, is required. Proficiency in common web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), network protocols, penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Kali Linux tools), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and exploit development is essential. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Relevant security certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSWE, GWAPT, GPEN, CEH) and experience with AI red teaming methodologies and bug bounty program management are considered a plus.
The Senior Security Engineer will conduct white-box penetration tests on Snowflake's web applications, internal tools, and APIs. This role involves managing and enhancing the bug bounty program, including triaging findings and interacting with security researchers. Responsibilities include analyzing vulnerability patterns, implementing solutions for root cause fixes, and communicating vulnerabilities with actionable remediation guidance to development teams. The engineer will also present security metrics to leadership, stay updated on attack techniques and AI/ML security threats, develop automation for security workflows, and promote a strong security culture by emphasizing secure development practices.
