Responsibilities

Participate in product development projects across multiple sites worldwide
Develop system requirements specifications for new products in collaboration with product marketing
Execute feasibility experiments to demonstrate proof of principle for new development concepts
Develop and implement measurement procedures and data analysis for control, characterization, and optimization of high-resolution mass spectrometry instruments
Oversee all aspects of experiments within the project team, including planning, setup, execution, and documentation
Develop verification test plans and prepare test summary reports
Guide mechanical and electrical engineers in developing sub-system requirement specifications
Contribute to factory acceptance test procedures in collaboration with operations
Facilitate knowledge transfer to operations, product support, and field service teams
Conceive and implement feasibility experiments
Ensure high experimental quality and theoretical penetration from research to serial production
Develop effective solutions and execution strategies for challenges
Collaborate to create control software for hardware components
Generate clear and comprehensive documentation
Apply intellectual property principles in invention disclosures, patents, publications, and presentations
Communicate development status verbally in internal meetings and with external collaborators
