Responsibilities

  • Lead applied quantitative research efforts with selected prosecutors’ offices around the country
  • Analyze data from prosecutors’ administrative case management systems and community-based diversion programs
  • Make administrative data requests to district attorneys’ offices and diversion program providers
  • Manage data construction and delivery with partners
  • Compile, clean, and document disparate data files into master datasets for analysis
  • Manage updates to master datasets
  • Collaborate with qualitative researchers and technical assistance program associates to build comprehensive understanding of prosecution
  • Provide technical assistance to prosecutors’ offices and community-based organizations on data usage for reform efforts
  • Contribute to expanding visibility of prosecutor and community research through new products, trainings, convenings, and presentations
  • Assume leadership role within the Reshaping Prosecution research team, including hiring, training, and developing junior researchers
  • Report directly to the Associate Director of Research
