Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience building data-intensive platforms. Prior experience working in a trading team with an in-depth understanding of markets and data needed to trade systematically is required, as is prior experience sourcing and building high-quality data sets for systematic strategies. Experience collaborating with Research teams and Quants is also desired.

Responsibilities

The Senior Quantitative Data Engineer will collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Researchers to identify data needs for a multi-asset systematic strategy group, leading the build-out of industry-leading data sets for trading mid-frequency systematic strategies. They will implement the right data sourcing strategy, robust data pipelines, and data quality management, owning all data needs for trading purposes and delivering timely and accurate data sets every day of trading. Additionally, they will design and develop features using proprietary or industry-standard models, and support the trading desk enabling daily efficient operation.
