Requirements

4-6 years of direct QA / software tester experience
Ability to provide direction and guidance to testers
Take ownership of tasks & projects to deliver the highest quality test service
Ability to help other team members deliver to a high-quality standard
Estimation and scheduling experience
Experience in writing & executing project test plans and test cases based on business requirements
Excellent working knowledge of QA standards, processes, tools, and methodologies
ISTQB / ISEB (foundation) qualified
Test automation experience (desirable asset)

Responsibilities

Oversee activities of quality assurance personnel and provide hands-on testing and methodical problem-solving
Provide strategic leadership for the software testing roadmap
Lead creation of quality assurance measures across the business
Develop and enhance manual and automated test frameworks
Participate in discovery and design phases of new software/product features and promote continuous testing ("shifting test left")
Ensure validated deliverables meet functional, design specifications, and requirements
Execute software/product tests and record results during release cycles
Review functional and design specifications for full understanding of deliverables
Develop and maintain documentation, functional test cases, data validation scripts, and test data
Conduct analysis of software/product requirements and produce test estimations
Collaborate with software/product developers to drive issue resolution
Work with development teams to ensure high-quality and timely software/product releases
