Requirements

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner and over 5 years of experience managing large-scale implementations using Agile and/or waterfall methodologies. Experience interacting with upper management for product prioritization and translating product features into user stories is required. A Bachelor's degree, in-depth understanding of the healthcare insurance industry and AI applications within it, and demonstrated success in defining, delivering, and scaling AI-enabled products are preferred. Proficiency with agile tools like Jira or Azure DevOps and a data-driven approach are also preferred, along with experience in scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Owner will convey product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing the product backlog. They will maximize the value of products created by the Agile team, liaise with stakeholders and the development team to ensure the right product is built in the right order, within budget and on time, and serve as the primary contact for the Agile team regarding information, work prioritization, and decision-making. This role influences department strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
