Requirements

  • Solid grasp of key technologies, regulatory drivers, key players/suppliers in the open banking market, and customer use cases
  • Data-driven: Skilled at leveraging data and business insights to determine strategic priorities, drive the product roadmap, and execution
  • Customer-first: Think from the customer's perspective and balance future opportunities with immediate needs
  • End-to-end mindset: Think in a structured and diligent manner, understanding all key components necessary to drive ongoing product success
  • Leadership: Excellent at collaborating with stakeholders in product, engineering, commercial, and business teams proactively, with high EQ and influencing skills
  • Effective communicator: Able to inspire others with a shared vision and simplify complex concepts for a wide range of audiences

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of Checkout’s Open Banking solution across the entire global merchant ecosystem
  • Build strong partnerships with business, product, and technology stakeholders to gain buy-in and collaboration for generating momentum for products
  • Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery
  • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com’s customers and business
  • Foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com’s operating principles
  • Provide cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and business teams to enable customers to leverage Checkout.com for a viable open-banking solution
  • Drive the build of an open banking solution across multiple product pillars (0-1, optimizing, scaling)
  • Understand stakeholders’ pain points, drive prioritization for product development, and develop new capabilities for customers
