Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Minimum of 12+ years of hands-on experience with Java based development projects using RESTful APIs, Spring, SpringBoot, Micro services
High technical and/or technological competence
Proven experience in high-level programming languages, like Java
Proven experience in software development methodologies
Proven experience building complex web systems
Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical skills
Good communication skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Responsibilities

Develop strategic methods and principles to improve the technical stability and efficiency of the company's products/services
Lead and influence several teams and initiatives
Jump into code in any component to firefight and contribute, leveraging deep knowledge of the entire system
Make decisions on product direction and internals based on deep subject matter knowledge
Set product direction and take ownership over large components
Think both strategically and tactically, aligning with technical and company goals
Lay out paths across many versions given long-term strategic goals
Participate in and support initiatives outside of main area of responsibility
Provide technical leadership for projects including 3–4 individuals
Build strong relationships within own team and across the company
Understand multiple points of view and drive processes to conclusions in a timely and respectful manner
Mentor others with high-level technical guidance
Improve the company’s technical prowess
Put customers first and set strategic short-term targets
Take up open-ended problems
Design, code, and debug software
Improve the performance of existing software
Provide training to other engineers
Maintain and upgrade existing software
Recommend new technologies to increase productivity
Supervise and oversee the technical aspects of projects
Investigate software-related complaints and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance
Regularly attend team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and propose solutions
Work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases
Research and collect product information to support development of specifications and requirements
