Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in product management, with a significant track record in a leadership capacity focused on large-scale B2C and/or B2B products, especially in areas like personalization, recommendation engines, data products, or information services
  • Demonstrated experience developing product strategy, setting operational plans, and driving alignment to achieve cohesive outcomes for large, complex product areas
  • Proven ability to deeply understand diverse B2C user journeys and B2B user workflows and translate those customer needs into impactful product solutions
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs and technical possibilities—informed by a strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and their potential applications—into actionable product strategy and requirements
  • Deep understanding of personalization and recommendation technologies (e.g., collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, machine learning models) is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and champion the overarching product strategy and vision for Personalization across all Dow Jones platforms (B2C and B2B)
  • Establish and manage operational plans and roadmaps for the personalization platform, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective execution
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, design, etc.) to deliver high-quality personalization features and platform enhancements
  • Drive alignment and build consensus among diverse senior stakeholders across technology, commercial, product, and content teams
  • Define, monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for personalization, using data to inform strategy and demonstrate product value
  • Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape, user feedback, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in Personalization
