Requirements

Candidates must have 6+ years of BI/Data Visualization experience with strong expertise in Power BI. Required skills include proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Service, Power Query for data cleaning and transformation, DAX (including time intelligence functions), data modeling, relationships, calculated measures, and Power BI Deployment Pipelines. Strong SQL knowledge is essential, and preferred qualifications include Microsoft Certified: PL-300 and PL-900 certifications, experience with other BI tools, familiarity with cloud data platforms, knowledge of row-level security and data governance, and an understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.

Responsibilities

The Senior Power BI Developer/Lead will design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop, implementing advanced chart types and trend analysis for business insights. Responsibilities include performing data cleaning and transformation using Power Query, developing semantic models with relationships, hierarchies, and calculated measures, and creating time intelligence measures. The role involves managing Power BI Deployment Pipelines for ALM, publishing, monitoring, and securing reports in Power BI Service, and collaborating with data engineering teams. Additionally, the developer will develop and optimize DAX expressions, gather requirements from stakeholders, translate them into actionable dashboards, and conduct end-user training and adoption workshops.
