Requirements

  • MS degree in EE/CE or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years in silicon bring-up, validation, performance/power optimization, issue debug, productization, or equivalent
  • Strong fundamentals in digital design, computer architecture, power analysis, timing, fault analysis, statistics, and IO interface, PLL and clock
  • Deep understanding of SW/firmware and HW/SW interaction
  • Excellent verbal communication and written presentation skills
  • Hands-on lab experience (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) is preferred
  • Basic programming and scripting skills such as C/C++, Python, and Perl
  • Windows and Linux OS knowledge are plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, effective in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

  • Proactively dive into new feature and spec from Pre-Si and lead test strategies development, including functional validation methodology, characterization and tuning strategy, platform/component interoperability, test design, debug capability and tools/scripts, system, SLT, and manufacturing test requirement
  • Develop bring-up, validation, tuning, and productization plans
  • Build supporting tools/script/infrastructure with relevant stakeholder teams
  • Continuously optimize validation and productization processes and methodologies to improve overall quality and efficiency
  • Proactively drive and identify opportunities and methods for test strategies and validation methodology optimization, efficiency improvement and innovation based on project learnings and challenging
