  • Ability to provide independent challenge and drive high-quality risk analysis

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed risk assessments for technology, process, and organizational change initiatives across the business
  • Evaluate the potential impact of changes on operational resilience, regulatory compliance, customer experience, and financial stability
  • Ensure risk assessments are integrated early in the change lifecycle to proactively mitigate issues
  • Support the establishment and operation of change governance frameworks, policies, and approval processes
  • Review and challenge change proposals, project documentation, and impact assessments to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations
  • Track adherence to change risk governance requirements, escalating deviations where necessary
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of change-related controls
  • Perform post-implementation reviews to validate that risks were appropriately mitigated and controls are operating effectively; recommend corrective actions and strengthen governance practices where gaps are identified
  • Produce high-quality operational risk dashboards, trend analysis, and committee reporting
  • Provide insights on risk exposures, themes, and emerging risks to senior management
  • Promote a strong risk culture by providing training, coaching, and regular engagement with stakeholders
  • Encourage proactive identification and escalation of risks
