The position is hybrid and based in Bucharest, Romania.

Required skills include a solid understanding of mathematical optimization concepts like linear programming and mixed integer programming, ability to write secure and efficient enterprise-quality Java code, deep understanding of scalability and performance techniques, and familiarity with Springboot, Hibernate, and MySQL. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Operations Research or similar field is also required.

Strong candidates will have 5+ years of experience with optimization problems particularly scheduling optimization, a degree in Mathematics or Operations Research, Java expertise, and preferred skills like operating in resource-limited environments, strong communication, and building positive peer relationships.
