Candidates need a BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field with at least 8 years of experience in safety-critical systems, demonstrated expertise in safety risk management (qualitative and quantitative), strong communication skills, and a track record of leading safety initiatives and gaining stakeholder consensus.
You will work closely with Software (Planner, Perception, Firmware), Operations, Vehicle Engineering, Safety Design, Hardware, and Legal teams.
A successful candidate can navigate ambiguity, drive consensus with a pragmatic view, build strong stakeholder relationships, manage on-call incidents professionally, and has bonus experience in transportation safety, AI, ADAS, or relevant safety standards.
