Requirements

The Senior Network Operations Manager must have experience leading and enhancing provider network operations, including provider vetting and referral coordination for specialty care programs. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Clinical and Provider Operations teams to improve provider evaluation and onboarding processes. Additionally, the candidate must be adept at researching, identifying, and engaging with external specialty care providers and facilities to grow the network, and possess a strong understanding of the behavioral health provider landscape.

Responsibilities

The Senior Network Operations Manager will lead and manage the vetting process for higher levels of care providers across multiple specialties, establishing critical partnerships to ensure full spectrum of care delivery. They will support customer-specific provider vetting, build and maintain an internal provider vetting framework, and define vetting criteria and workflows. The role also involves conducting external research to identify high-quality providers, facilities, and services, acting as a primary point of contact with external provider organizations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the external network aligns with member needs. Furthermore, the manager will design and document SOPs for referral processes, identify opportunities for automation, serve as an operational lead to troubleshoot referral pathways, and track key metrics and outcomes to inform improvements.
