Responsibilities

The Senior Network Operations Engineer will operate and maintain ServiceNow’s global cloud network infrastructure, including backbone routing, switching, VPN services, and ADC systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving network issues, participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation, and maintaining software-defined infrastructure using automation tools like Ansible and GitLab. The role involves performing software upgrades, version control, and security patching, analyzing network metrics to prevent outages, and supporting network operations in multi-cloud environments. Additionally, the engineer will partner with the SRE team to improve operational processes, review planned changes, create documentation, provide feedback to architects, and evaluate new technologies to drive automation and enable rapid deployment across large-scale environments.
