Requirements

Candidates must have a proven track record as a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in wireless technologies. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to coach and support peers, are essential. Applicants should demonstrate experience with Juniper and/or Cisco switches, Juniper Mist Wireless or Ruckus Wireless, and Fortigate and/or Juniper firewalls. A detailed understanding of networking fundamentals, including the OSI model, TCP/IP stack, DHCP, DNS, and routing protocols like OSPF and BGP is required. Candidates should also have troubleshooting experience, knowledge of IPSec and SSL VPNs, and experience with firewall configuration. Relevant higher education and certifications such as CWAP, Fortigate NEC4, CCNA, JNCIA, or JCNIS-ENT are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Network Engineer will lead networking projects from inception to deployment, ensuring reliable operations. They will be responsible for wireless network design, configuration management of firewalls and switches, and contributing to the team's operational excellence. The role includes scaling platform management through automation and creating quality documentation. Additionally, the engineer will advocate for users to enhance connectivity experiences and may require visiting various Deliveroo sites.
