Senior .NET/C# Web Developer

Position Overview

ATCOM S.A. is seeking a motivated, talented, and highly productive Senior .NET/C# Web Developer to join our highly skilled team. We are the biggest web development company in Greece, responsible for numerous large and notable web projects and solutions across various sectors, including e-commerce, travel, intranets, and news portals for both private and public sectors. Requirements

What you'll be doing:

• Join a team of successful web developers responsible for the most challenging web solutions in Greece.
• Solve unique problems that arise from the need to always push the envelope in web development.
• Collaborate with and consult project managers and HTML authors to achieve technical correctness of each project.
• Utilize our in-house developed Web Content Management System (Netvolution WCMS) and contribute to its development with ideas from hands-on experience.
• Be technically responsible for the projects you undertake and choose the best method or technology to make them successful.

What we'll expect from you:

• Proficiency and high productivity with .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
• At least 4+ years of experience in ASP.NET web development in C#.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or a proven track record of previous projects of significant complexity.
• Deep understanding of the HTTP protocol, request/response anatomy, and their handling.
• Knowledge of various web technologies or concepts (CDN, SEO, AMP, PWA).
• Experience with scalable, high-availability solutions.
• Database design, programming, and optimization knowledge on MS SQL Server.
• Valuable experience in creating and consuming various SOAP and REST APIs.
• Experience with client-side programming using a client framework (Vue, React) or plain JavaScript.
• Fluency with Git source control and exposure to Azure Services.
• Participation in a fair number of large web projects.
• Familiarity with Web Content Management concepts.
• Strong opinions, weakly held: courage to act on knowledge, but humility to doubt what you know.
