Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years of experience in software engineering
Solid foundation in software engineering best practices and patterns like DDD, TDD, GRASP, SOLID
Full-stack .NET web development experience, including RESTful APIs, OpenAPI Specification, and ASP.NET Core features and components
Experience with .NET open-source frameworks like FluentAssertions, FluentValidation, Mediatr, and Hangfire (a plus)
Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
Effective unit, integration, user acceptance testing using libraries like xUnit and Specflow
Experience in highly scalable, available systems with understanding of application monitoring, metrics, and centralized logging tools like Datadog
Experience in AWS cloud and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience implementing and developing using automated CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Detail-oriented team player able to work in small teams, mentor members, take ownership, and contribute to continuous improvement in Agile/Scrum
Strong analytical, problem-solving attitude, creativity, and ability to break down problems for customer value

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable applications meeting business requirements and best practices
Develop backend APIs using ASP.NET Core, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Kafka messaging in AWS cloud
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product managers in an Agile environment
Support quality of engineering work across multiple codebases and operational processes
Work in an Agile Scrum team, motivate towards sprint goals, and coordinate effectively with team members
Work with different teams to deliver outstanding consumer-facing applications
Continuously evaluate new technologies and software products
Innovate solutions balancing immediate needs with long-term ownership and maintenance
Apply software development best practices and standards, including helping create design systems
Communicate intent to other developers through code
