Requirements

  • Expertise in MicroFocus Enterprise Server (MFES) IMS configuration, tuning, and management
  • Expertise in MicroFocus Enterprise Developer (MFED) IMS application and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant experience, typically 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
  • Basic understanding of coding and debugging

Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining the MicroFocus Enterprise Server (MFES) IMS configurations
  • Participating in software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code, under the guidance of more experienced team members
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines
  • Contributing to the documentation of software requirements and specifications
  • Assisting in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, seeking guidance from senior team members
  • Supporting the implementation of emerging technologies and best practices
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance technical skills
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing within the team
  • Actively learning from and assisting more experienced team members
