  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in designing with 3D CAD programs, preferably in precision mechanics
  • Making analytical mechanical calculations supported by FEM analyses

Responsibilities

  • Determine and develop approach to solutions
  • Coach and review the work of the team and may manage projects
  • Contribute to the completion of work group objectives through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments
  • Make improvements of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the job area
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements
  • Communicate with senior internal and external customers and vendors
  • Design, build, and test advanced medical devices and production processes
  • Work on design, development, and testing of surgical instruments in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Improve product performance and manufacturability by designing, calculating, modelling, prototyping, and testing
  • Cover the full engineering domain of product development from conceptual design up to market introduction
