Requirements
- Experience in defense technology, aerospace, or a similarly complex operational environment
- Strong understanding of material planning, supply chain coordination, and manufacturing management at a fast-paced hardware company
- Proven ability to execute complex, cross-functional projects under tight deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level documents and briefings
- High discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action—comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under U.S. Government-approved programs

- Former founder or early employee at a venture-backed tech company
- Experience in material planning, supply chain coordination, or operations

Responsibilities
- Full cycle Material Resource Planning
- MRP execution: Populate/run/maintain MRP, validate output, convert planned orders into purchase/work orders
- Inventory control: Prevent shortages and excess. Manage reordering and vendor relations
- Supplier coordination: Place POs, track confirmations, expedite/de-expedite, manage lead times and delivery schedules
- Production support: Ensure materials arrive in time for builds. Resolve shortages, discrepancies, and quality holds
- Demand forecasting: Translate sales forecasts, production schedules, and historical usage into material requirements
- Data accuracy: Maintain item masters, BOM accuracy, lead times, MOQ, and cost data
- KPI ownership: Monitor OTIF, inventory turns, aging stock, shortages, and planner buys
- Continuous improvement: Optimize planning parameters, reduce lead times, improve reliability of supply chain
