Requirements

Demonstrated experience as CNC machinist with at least 10 years of experience
Skill in operating and programming CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
Computer savvy with expert understanding of CNC programming and CAD/CAM
Mechanical aptitude and proficient math skills
Minimum 4 years programming experience
Knowledge of GD&T
MasterCam or NX experience required
Haas Mill and Lathe experience is a plus
Solidworks experience is a plus
US citizen or Green Card holder

Responsibilities

Reading specifications on blueprints and mechanical drawings and ensuring they are met
Setup, program, and operate CNC Mill and Lathe for prototype/production part runs
Run tests on machines to check machine outputs according to specifications, and adjust as necessary
Design fixtures and manufacture them as needed
Examine and maintain machinery regularly to ensure functionality
Supervise machines during execution and make any necessary adjustments to manufacture a better result
Inspect completed parts and compare them to the specifications and requirements of the blueprint, to determine if the process was properly completed
Perform all work in compliance with Xometry's quality and safety systems, policies and procedures
Maintain cleanliness of the work area
